Terms of use

The basis on which we publish.

Editorial content

Everything on The Fine Address is published in good faith as editorial opinion and general information. Travel is a moving target: rates change, hotels are refurbished, restaurants close, routes are discontinued, and border requirements are revised without notice. We work to keep guides current, but we cannot warrant that every detail is accurate at the moment you read it, and you should verify anything your trip depends on with the provider directly.

Not professional advice

Nothing here is financial, legal, medical or insurance advice. Discussions of travel insurance, medical evacuation cover, visa requirements or entry rules are general explanations, not a recommendation for your circumstances. For anything consequential, consult the relevant professional or the official government source.

Bookings are with the provider

We do not sell travel. When you follow a link and book, your contract is with that booking partner or supplier, on their terms, and any question about payment, amendment, cancellation, refund or service quality is between you and them. We are not a party to it and cannot intervene on your behalf.

Affiliate relationships

We earn commission on some bookings. This is set out fully in our affiliate disclosure, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The written content, brand name, logo and design of this site belong to us. You are welcome to quote a short extract with a link back. You may not republish guides in full, or reproduce them in whole or in substantial part, without written permission. Photographs are licensed from their respective photographers and are credited where they appear; the licence we hold does not extend to you.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on the content of this site, or from your dealings with any third-party provider reached through it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
