Cape Town is the rare city where a fortnight makes more sense than a long weekend, because the winelands an hour inland are a second holiday entirely. Do the city first while your energy is high, then move to Franschhoek or Stellenbosch and stop moving. Hire a car; the distances are short and the roads are excellent.
